new year, new model ! another french girl who discovered bondage in front of my camera … here is her first rope session !

2008 is over and I must admit this year wasn’t easy to manage : lot of problems, also for the photo part. but, sometimes, a good surprise happens … Graziella contacted me in October and I immediately loved her style. You know I appreciate when a woman is able to play several characteres and I think Graziella is able to do it. You guessed I miss Anaïs for the inspiration : since my last muse is gone, I have a real problem to find motivation and cool ideas. I am lucky enough to shoot great models like Mina and Amélie but I need a little bit more, Anaïs and I were connected for the mind part and we were used to speak a lot. I loved the way she had to express her thoughts and propose new challenges to explore. I recognized something similar when I met Graziella for the firs time … these two women are different, but some details make me tought about Anaïs and it helps my mind to wake-up :) I already did three shootings with Graziella and it’s too early to know if our collaboration will be long. At this time, I notice some positive things which could help me to find back the creative mood. For now, here is her first rope bondage session … like a lot of french girls visiting my studio, she has never been bound before and we ended her first photo day with a short shibari time. For the little story, I asked to my friend Audrey to come for the shootingn she assusted Graziella with clothes and other stuff … the presence of another woman always helps the girl to be more comfortable with the situation. It was also nice to work again with two others people, we got a lot of fun together ! For her first bondage, I didn’t make something complicated for Graziella except the final position which was a little bit pervert adding a rope around her neck. Like a lot of ballet dancers, this french girl is comfortable with rope restraint and I am curious to see what the next step will be … Graziella started modeling two years ago for Suicide Girls before to stop for a while, now she moved to Paris, she models again and I’m happy she loved my work enough to contact me. Graziella Krystal will be back soon, so, you will be able to follow her captiveculture’s adventure like you did for others in the past ;-) thanks !

Here is a session we did in July 2005 with Dana. Several reasons made this shooting special for me including the place where we shot. Marc was kind enough to welcome us in his parisian appartment.

First reason, the nice location where I already worked 3 years ago when latex culture just started. I kept in memory his kitchen : a really cool open space, perfect for a french maid dressed in latex. Moreover, Marc is the best guy I met when I was moving in the french fetish places (shops and parties) … a long time ago ! He’s cool, positive, clever and professional : I love his sense of humour … politically incorrect, like me ! Second reason, I had to deal with the Dana’s hair color and cut : she decided this major change the day before our photo session. I don’t love this new haircut : maybe it’s okay for everyday life but it doesn’t match with my work … Dana’s face looks strange and the orange color ruined the two others sets scheduled after the kitchen one. However, I said nothing to Dana about it and we shot the first set : I just tried to photography the best angles to minimize the problem. Fortunately, hair color was matching with the kitchen colors : I remember Dana telling me “you see, it’s nice on pictures” … yep. It was correct on this set but it would have been 100 times better with her usual hair length and color !

as I said, there are several things which make this shooting special for me. Let’s go on … Third reason : the light : there was a lot of sun in Marc’s appartment and no way to bring darkness in the room. So, I mixed the light sources : two softboxes and the natural daylight. I was anxious about the result but the color harmony is really interesting. When I edited this serie in 2005, I wasn’t totally satisfied about the contrast but the problem has been fixed last week when I remastered the whole set. My taste changed and my photoshop editing changed too : before, I was obsessed by light tones but nowadays, I spend more time on details, trying to find the right balance between “good looking picture” and “render the reality”. maybe my taste will change again later, I just hope you love my actual photoshop editing ! Something more serious now. Fourth reason is that shooting sounds like a summary of this job : it can be really fun, working in a good atmosphere, joking and smiling … some others session can be the opposite : boring, painful, stressing and blah blah blah. That day, we got the both sides : everything started well, good atmosphere, relax people but everything changed in 20 seconds and 4 sentences. I was worried about a mistake we did in the end of the first set + I was always annoyed by Dana’s new haircut. We shot the second set but, on this one, the most important was Dana’s face and, unfortunately, the new haircut didn’t helped us. I stopped the sequence and made the set shorter : Dana understood my mood. I said nothing about the haircut changed. Four hours later her arrival, Dana understood the problem and questionned me. I answered something like “I don’t love it” very short, leaving the room because we had to install stuff for the third set. I am really curt sometimes. I think and speak fast and I am not used to loose time with sterile conversations. For the first time in 3 years, I really saw my words and my cold reaction hurted Dana. I forget sometimes women are not so strong they claimed … I don’t like tears then we spoke together.

As I often say to my friends, human part is predominant in that job. After a small discussion, we were able to start a third set even if my mood and creativity have been ruined. I was unable to forget that small incident as I was more worried about what happened in the end of the maid set. Explanation : after the metal restraint, I tied Dana on the kitchen furniture with jute ropes. No problem even if hard furniture is not comfortable when you’re bound over ! Sometimes, new ideas are coming while we shoot : Marc suggested we could put coarse salt on the table. I didn’t think a lot of about this idea except the coarse salt looks really nice and sounds like a good drama tool. Indeed, everybody is able to understand the coarse salt is really disturbing for the bound girl. I added the salt on the table and I helped Dana to go over these grains. I know that was uncomfortable but I didn’t guess one thing : salt is really agressive for the skin ! I don’t know if the body weight or the wet skin increased the effect but, time after time, the salt is slowly penetrating the skin and becomes really irritating. Be sure it’s like burning when you are bound and you are moving over the particles ! So, when we discovered Dana’s red skin, all of us were really worried and sorry. and I was more than others because it’s my job to think about everything. Fortunately, the skin of her breast was okay two days later but, at this time, I was really anxious about marks for several days. That’s why I was nervous after that first set and that’s also why Dana overreacted when I gave my impression about her haircut. I totally understand it now : if I was she, feeling my breast burning, trying to do my best to please jG, decided to get a nice head for the shooting … getting bad comment makes you sad !

Anyway, we got an happy end to the story. Our set in the kitchen featuring Dana dressed in french maid uniform looks great. Dana always loved latex and challenge, she got what she loves. Using handcuffs to make her elbows tight in the back was an evil idea but this image is very popular to my fans. I always appreciated metal restraint but this simple idea gave a strong drama to the maid cleaning action. You should love the details revealed by the higher resolution files : I adore the pictures focused on the coarse salt stuck to the bound tits … I know you will love close-up shots of Dana gagged and drooling. I also included one picture of the skin mistreated by the coarse salt ;-p Now, it’s time to let you rediscover this great set which has been remastered in 1000×1504 resolution.

back in 2007, first shooting with Noémie : I added a third set to my schedule to show her bondage session is safe at Captive Culture studios. You know the method I use with newbie : I decided to tie Anaïs and let Noémie play with her friend. It was also the first time I shot Anaïs with her new haircut … I don’t know why but my camera made me some surprises for this session and I spent more time than usual to edit all those pictures. I didn’t want to shoot a long set, moreover because we was short on time. I used nylon ropes for a better contrast and I tried few things to immobilize Anaïs : you will notice some interesting ideas like bound heels or the final position with one leg in the air using rope around the big toe. I don’t have more to write except the two girls got fun together and the cool atmosphere probably helped Noemie to try bondage later …

Mina is a bondage lover and she experienced lot of bondage positions … and yet, she didn’t live lot of rope sessions on a chair :-)

back in June, Mina came for a shooting and brought one friend to help us. unfortunately I was not in a good day, fighting with problems in my life and I didn’t want to shoot. I bet it would have been better to cancel the shooting but I hate to break my agreement with a model : so, I tried to give all I can for one set and only one. Indeed, it didn’t happen often in my photographer life but after this serie, I explained to Mina that was impossible for me to continue. I think we will have others occasions to work with her friend who is a french photographer and we’ll try to collaborate when I will be in a better mood :) I don’t have a lot of things to write about this set : white wall, pale skin and frontal lighting, that was my photographic style in the past but I definately prefer dark backgrounds today. but I am reasonnable enough to avoid painting all my house with black, red or brown walls … I still have white walls and I try to use them to please fans who prefer my old style photography. I wanted to focus my session on the ropework and I tried to make the position pretty uncomfortable for Mina : arms in the back and tight elbows … that’s an evil combination especially when your hands are tied to the chair, on the front side. I used another method to build the breast bondage harness because I did it when Mina was already bound to the chair : I bet you will love her boobs trapped in the rope but I don’t love the knot in the middle … I was unable to make it smaller : I had lot of ropes crossing there including the neck rope. I definately made a good start with the bondage position with lot of evil details and ideas but I had to spend less time on the legs to take pictures and avoid to put Mina in serious troubles with her painful arms. So, I quickly tied her legs in the lotus position allowing me to add a wireless vibrator in the end … You will also notice I used my rope to block my model’s tongue : I tried it with Amélie recently and I wanted to do it again with Mina … mainly because of her tongue piercing :-) I was right, the thing worked well and the tongue was really trapped : I am sure you will understand what I mean watching Mina drooling and drooling again ! thank you Miss …
